ANIMO Health has teamed up with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Summit, Medina, and Stark Counties to host the first-ever Biggie Awards!
The Biggie Awards encourage children in our community to show their creative side by recreating famous movie scenes. Children will have the opportunity to work with an adult to recreate and submit their favorite movie scene, which will then be judged by a panel of community members. A live awards ceremony will celebrate the various video submissions and the visionaries that created them… with a chance at winning a Grand Prize of $300 IN CASH!!

We’ll see you at the LIVE Biggie Awards Ceremony July 31st at Highland Theater in Akron (ceremony will be live streamed if you can’t attend in person)!

Biggie Awards will be awarded for the best videos in the following categories:
Best Comedy
Best reenactment of a comedy movie or comedy movie scene.
Best Drama
Best reenactment of a drama movie or drama movie scene.
Best Action
Best reenactment of an action movie or an action movie scene.
Best Costumes
Best use of costumes or best costume design.
Best Sound/FX or Props
Best use of editing, design, props, etc.
Best Overall
Best overall video submission.
Rules
Every competition has to have rules, right? Here are ours:

Length
Videos MUST be less than
2 minutes and 30 seconds long.

Participants
Videos MUST include either a Big and Little from Big Brothers Big Sisters OR at least one adult and one youth (18 years and under) from our community.

Project
Videos MUST be a recreation of a movie scene. (Make sure content is appropriate)

Recreate the Scene
Recreate your favorite movie scene! This can include any movie or cartoon of any genre.
**Please make sure your video is appropriate.
Upload Your Video
Upload your video to our SharePoint Drive by June 20th!
