What We Do

Building increased access to care isn’t just what we do,
 – it’s –

  WHO WE ARE.

Building Access to Care

1

ACCESS TO FUNDING

ANIMO Health works with educators, communities, agencies, and organizations to leverage the funding needed to provide care to at-risk and underserved populations.

2

ACCESS TO PROFESSIONALS

ANIMO Health strives to encourage and develop the needed experts and professionals to meet the current and future demand for mental health and addiction care in our communities.

3

ACCESS TO INFORMATION

ANIMO Health is committed to keeping the public, families, educators, professionals, and our supporters informed about mental health and addiction developments. Our team finds and shares the latest news and information related to mental health and substance abuse/addiction.

4

ACCESS TO SUPPORT

ANIMO Health works on systems that help support our community during times of struggle and strife, as well as during joy and recovery. By engaging the power of individuals and their stories, we can break down barriers to access to care.

5

ACCESS TO COMMUNITY

ANIMO Health understands and supports engagement with the community. We cannot begin to address the challenges facing our communities unless we are willing to come together and work cooperatively – individuals, organizations, businesses, community leaders… it takes all of us to make a community thrive.

Ending the stigma…

People of Substance
is sharing stories, and humanizing the impact of the opioid epidemic.

People of Substance exists to catalog and share the stories of those suffering from opioid addiction. It seeks to break the stereotypes associated with the Opioid Crisis in the United States.

Allow the words and stories from those suffering from addiction to change your preconceived notions about their situations, to humanize them as people rather than stigmatizing them as addicts.
